The tour, titled “The Story of the White City,” is designed for an 8-hour exploration of Belgrade. It aims to show visitors the city’s essential sights, allow them to experience local flavors, and get a glimpse into the lives of its inhabitants. The tour covers significant historical sites, buildings, museums, and art galleries, many of which are within walking distance. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit famous coffee houses and cultural venues, tasting traditional Serbian cuisine. Key locations include the Belgrade Fortress, a historical defense fortification with parts dating back 600 years, offering views of the Tuna and Sava rivers. The tour also covers Kneza Mihaila Street, a pedestrianized area in the heart of the ancient Roman city Singidunum, known for its 19th-century mansions. Other notable stops include Republic Square, Hotel Moskva (a valuable architectural monument), Terazije Street (a lively walking and shopping area), the Parliament Building, Saint Sava Church (the largest Orthodox church in the Balkans), the Tito Museum (Museum of Yugoslav History), the Nikola Tesla Museum, and Skadarlija Street, known as the bohemian heart of Belgrade. The tour also briefly touches upon the NATO bombing sites from 1999. The tour organization states it runs daily and upon request, accommodates 1-25 people, and includes Turkish guiding, museum entry fees, and city transfers.
